Broccoli and Rice Casserole

3tbs butter
2 tbs flour
1/2 lb shitake or bella mushrooms sliced
1/4 c onions diced
2 cloves garlic chopped
1/2 tsp cayenne pepper
1 1/2 c cream
1/2 c chicken stock
10 oz chopped broccoli
2 c shredded cheese
3 c cooked rice
S&P

1. Melt butter and flour, cook until roux is golden brown.
2. Add mushrooms, onion, garlic, garlic powder, cayenne, cream, and stock.
3. Add broccoli, 1c cheese, and rice. Season with S&P
4. Pour into sprayed dish and top with rest of cheese.
5. Bake until cheese is melted 425 about 20 minutes
