package of mozz.

around 20 mini mozzarella balls drained of fluid
1/3 c evoo
6 sun dried tomatoes, chopped
1 1/2 tsp oregano
2 tsp basil
3 garlic cloves pressed
crushed red pepper to taste
S&P
unpitted green olives
black olives
plastic straw

1. combine mozzarella, oil, tomatoes, hers, garlic, red pepper, S&P in a bowl and marinate 3-24 hours
2. cut the top away from one green olive with a sharp knife. You should have a round dome.
3. using the end of a straw, poke a hole through the green olive and remove the bit of olive.
4. stick the end of the straw into a black olive and pull out a hole shaped piece. .
5. place the black olive piece inside the cut green olive. Or...put a pupil in the middle of each iris. finish off the eye balls with this technique
6. drain the marinade away and place one set of iris and pupil on top of each eyeball.
7. line a platter with lettuce and place eyeballs on it. (if traveling assemble eyes at party, they like to slide)
